History
First Impressions Foundation, Inc. was established five years ago when Ms. Smith received $1,000 as an employee of the year from Charlotte County Schools after 10 years of employment. After receiving the $1,000 award in 2017, Ms. Smith returned the money back to the school system to create a scholarship to help students at Charlotte Technical College.
Her vision is to help students who go into a trade school, technical college, or straight into the workforce after high school in a particular trade. Since 2017, she was able to start First Impressions Foundation Inc. a 501 (c) 3, which is a nonprofit organization, as well as, open a Boutique. The boutique is established to generate funds to help additional students.
Her goal is to help the students in Charlotte County, which includes Port Charlotte Florida and Punta Gorda FL. Also, the online boutiques gives her the opportunity to help more students in the surrounding areas.
Presently, the scholarship is at Charlotte Technical College in Port Charlotte Florida, Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda Florida, and Desoto Community Foundation in Arcadia Florida. First Impressions Foundation Inc. is designed to give students a leg up by providing an opportunity to purchase an outfit,get gas, etc. for that first job

You can apply for First Impressions Foundation, Inc. scholarships with Charlotte Technical College in Port,Charlotte Florida, Desoto Community Foundation in Arcadia, Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida.
